CCHS Career Day
Glynn Hall was filled on Friday with career opportunities for Central Catholic students, opportunities such as nursing, explained by CCHS parent Susan Gates, pictured. At least 25 or 30 businesses were represented in the morning "Career Day". Students visited the various booths, learned a little about what kinds of jobs are available and what college programs will best prepare them for the work. They also picked up small gifts, candy, and at the Chef's table, manned by CCHS graduate Natalie McSherry, '03, and head chef of Gallettos, Jesse Layman, they could even sample bruschetta. A quick glance seemed to indicate that the FBI booth was the most popular but everything was represented – from being a ski instructor at Bear Valley to serving as a vowed religious for the Diocese of Stockton. | ||||||||
