CCHS Christian Service

CCHS students are committed to Christian Service, and many of them use their summer break to fulfill their required hours and log in some extra time. A favorite way seems to be volunteering at their Parish Vacation Bible Retreats. Here, freshman, Julie Fogarty, spends some quality time with some of her charges in the Dolphin Group at St. Joseph's VBR program. Many of our students have been volunteering long enough that they are now in charge of individual groups of children, leading them through a variety of arts and crafts, games, songs and the like. And some students seem to travel from parish to parish, taking part in two or three different programs!
