Walk For Life

On Saturday, January 23rd, the annual Walk for Life kicked off in San Francisco with over 30,000 walkers taking to the streets the message of pro-life.

Prep of the Week - Dusty Killian

CCHS senior Dusty Killian was recently named Prep of the Week in the Modesto Bee for his outstanding basketball game against Livingston.

May He Rest in Peace

Father Jack Pejza, OSA, served as Central Catholic’s third principal from 1975 through 1980. We received notice of his death from a heart attack on December 12, 2009, just this week.

Students Lighting the Way in the Community through...

All student groups must complete their “PROJECT LIGHT” 5 CORE HOURS by Thursday, January 21st 3pm. Complete a Group Tri-fold poster displaying service photos, and an individual 2 page essay about the organization and core service!

Central Catholic Drum Line

The Central Catholic drum line practicing for an upcoming performance. Stop by on Mondays after school to listen to them practice. They are impressive.

Central Catholic Art Club

The Central Catholic Art Club students were the guest teachers at St. Stanislaus School for a special class on Christmas clay art. Junior Meredithann Franco poses with the proud St. Stanislaus artist.

Senior Fallon Fowzer was another CC Art Club member who helped CC Art teacher Lisa Vance with the special clay making class at St. Stanislaus School in December.

CCHS Tutoring Class

CCHS graduate Mary Aiello, ’09, tutored Tommy Rossini at St. Joseph’s Church over the Christmas break. Other CCHS students involved in the tutoring classes included Michael Phillips, ’09, Christian Menezes, ’09, Matt Rios, ’09, and Jacey Menezes, ’03.

Adopt A Family

Volleyball team members help Mr. Staley load up his truck with gifts for a family from Orville Wright School. CCHS students adopted a number of families from Orville Wright, assuring a happy Christmas for them, with clothes, toys, Christmas trees and food for a holiday meal.
