Ethics Day

CCHS seniors spent a day at Del Rio County Club, meeting with community leaders and alumni to discuss ethical issues they might face in the workplace. Matt Henderson, vice president of trade development with The Wine Group, was the morning’s key note speaker. Students ended the day with a formal luncheon and tips on business etiquette from Mrs. Sue Fenton, former CCHS teacher and parent.

Basketball Homecoming 2011

Our CCHS Basketball homecoming was a great success! We had several alumni attend the game. Alumni pins were given to the CCHS alumni for free admission to the game. 8th Annual Blood Drive

Central Cares - and showed it with our 8th annual blood drive. ASB students ran the event (with the help of Blood Source and their very competent nurses) and 130 pints of blood were collected from 157 volunteers. Each pint helps to save the lives of 3 people - so our students will have a huge impact! In the picture - ASB president Josh Lagan does his part.

CCHS Takes the Small Schools Trophy! The Central Catholic High School Academic Decathlon Team came in third place overall and first place in small schools at the Stanislaus County Academic Decathlon. Trip to Stanford

On a recent Saturday morning, the CCHS basketball team, accompanied by some younger siblings and their coaches, took a Storer bus to Stanford University for the game between Stanford and Washington State. Soles for Souls

CCHS senior Kyle Forrester was helping his mother clean out their garage one day when she commented on the number of shoes he no longer wore. Kyle did an internet search for a place to donate them and found Soles 4 Souls, a nonprofit agency that send shoes to needy children around the world
