Congratulations Maddy Meyer

Central Catholic sophomore Maddy Meyer is a standout on the Lady Raiders soccer team. In addition, she plays on the Modesto Ajax club team and is a member of the District Olympic Development Team which consists of the top players in the Central Valley.

Congratulations Lady Raiders!

The Lady Raider Golf Team endured the wind storm at Stevenson Ranch on tuesday. Believe it or not – there were 50 mile an hour winds and playing golf. In any event they played their best under tough conditions and came up three strokes short of a Section Title.

Canned Food Drive

Students in the California Scholastic Federation (CSF) collected 222 canned food items for their fall quarter project. The National Honor Society is just completing their project which was a blanket drive for the needy.

Key Club Halloween

Key Club students assisted Parks and Recreation with a Special Halloween Party for children with special needs and their families at the Senior Citizen Center in Modesto, on Sunday, October 25. This is the 7th year our students have participated.

Homecoming 2009

Senior Audrey Coleman was crowned Homecoming Queen at festivities during Friday night’s game against Hilmar High School. Audrey, daughter of Brad and Joan Coleman, ’79, is pictured here with senior princesses, Chelsea King and Breann Adelman. Matt Shinkwin was the Homecoming King. The Raiders avenged Hilmar, 48-20.

Holy Bowl

CCHS Blue Crew members Kate Marsella and Maddy O’Brien (dressed as Raiders) presented Bishop Stephen Blaire with a CCHS Swing for Central jacket at the Holy Bowl football game in Stockton.

Ladies Golf VFL Tournament Winners!

Girls Golf ended the season undefeated and won the VFL tournament on October 20th at Pheasant Run in Chowchilla. Giovanna Pecchenino was named the league MVP. Their next stop is the Masters Tournament at Stevenson Ranch on October 27th

Lady Raiders are on Fire!

The Central Catholic Lady Raiders are on fire. The varsity team is 9 and 0 in league and are headed for the playoffs. This week they took Hilmar to the net and battled it out in five games. Great job, ladies!
