Email Teacher Classroom Files Photo Gallery Hi, my name is Lisa Vance and I teach all the studio art classes at CCHS. I am originally from Virginia and moved to Turlock in 1997. I studied graphic and studio art at West Virginia University; Art education at Northwestern University, LA; and received my Bachelor degree in Art from CSUS in Turlock, and a Masters degree in Education from National University.

I am also the Art Gallery Coordinator (Kristi Phippen Art Gallery is located in the Administration building), the Art club moderator, and the Freshman Moderator. I am also the Raider Girl’s golf assistant coach. I enjoy teaching all styles, forms, and mediums of art. My goal is to teach students these varieties to try to bring out their hidden talents from within. I believe we can all become great artists by learning the techniques and history of art, practicing and experimenting with new things, and having plenty of patience!
