My name is Tiffany Sheehy and I teach in the math department at Central Catholic. Since my start in 2006, I’ve taught Pre-algebra through Algebra II Honors. My assignment this year includes all of the geometry classes, honors geometry, and Algebra II Honors.
I will be present in the classroom for the first four weeks on the 2011-2012 school year. On September 9th, I will be out for most to all of the first semester on maternity leave. In the four weeks that I have with new students this year, I hope that we can build a good foundation for my return this winter. I look forward to meeting everyone and working with students and parents to make this school year a success. In my absence, the school has hired a wonderful substitute who is eager to get in front of the classroom and help maintain the classroom atmosphere that we will have built between now and then.
Central Catholic has a great way of making its members feel at home. It is a unique place where people get to showcase all of their interests. In addition to my teaching duties, I also co-moderate the Interact club. This is a service club linked to Rotary International that does a lot of charitable work in the community.
Please see the attached class description to get detailed classroom information. Make sure to check NetRaider often and consult the teacher for accurate grade information. I look forward to meeting you and working together throughout the year!
