Alumni Profile - Jon Williams

After graduating from CCHS in 1999, Jon attended George Washington University in Washington, DC, graduating with a BA in English in 2002.

He was then accepted into Columbia University’s doctoral program in English and Comparative Literature. In 2003, with CCHS English teacher Susan Dillon in the audience, he received his MA, and in October of 2009, he received his PhD. After completing his doctoral studies Jon took a job with Pierrepont School, a small, independent school in Westport, Connecticut. He continues to reside on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and divides his leisure time between New York, Washington, the UK, and the occasional improvisatory adventure.
