Alumni Profile: Wilson Tsai

After graduating from CCHS, Wilson studied at University of California, Davis for four years and got his degree in Economics. He was offered an accounting internship at a civil construction company afterward, which he worked at for half a year, but decided he did not want to crunch numbers for the rest of his life. He moved back to Modesto to help out with his family business because his mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and his dad was no longer able to manage it by himself. Shortly after, he spun off his own business in wholesaling his own fish directly to markets in the Bay Area instead of relying on wholesalers to do so. He expanded his business to not only selling his own fish, but distributing fish for other fish farms as well. "Though my distribution business is established and stable right now, I will continue to strive for more ambitious goals and perhaps conduct import/export at the international level someday".
