Congratulations to Father Shawn Aaron

Congratulations to Father Shawn Aaron, LC, ’86, who has been chosen president of Southern Catholic College in Dawsonville, Georgia. Father Aaron will replace Dr. Jeremiah J. Ashcroft, Southern Catholic College’s founding president, who is retiring. Father Aaron joined the Legion of Christ in 1991 and was ordained to the priesthood in Rome in 2002. He has degrees in Philosophy and Theology from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, Rome. He has served on several boards of various Legion –affiliated schools and has worked as a retreat director and leader of national evangelization efforts and played a key role in the development efforts of the Legion in North America.
