Grand Opening of Sophia’s Dance Journey

Sophia Payan, ’05, celebrated the grand opening of her new dance studio on Thursday, February 17, 2010. The new Modesto dance studio is located at 711 10th Street. Sophia’s Dance Journey offers dance and fitness classes. Sophia decided to establish the studio after graduating last summer from the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. Sophia states “that her journey of dance developed while attending CCHS. Sophia attended the Washington Academy of Performing Arts before transferring to the New York school, she previously danced with the Stockton Ballet Academy and our CCHS cheer team. Sophia states “I will always have fond memories of my years at Central”.
