On-Air Personality

Bob Malik graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1971. At a very young age, he knew what he wanted to do in life. Although American History was his favorite subject at Central Catholic High School, Bob went to radio school in Huntington Beach to get his first class FCC license. Prior to that, Bob took courses in the radio department of Modesto Junior College.

His first radio job was also his big break; he worked weekends at the KFIV radio station in Modesto. Neighboring San Francisco’s KYA radio station beckoned and he eventually landed at KFRC radio station prior to coming to K-EARTH 101 in November, 2001. Bob has been on air at K-Earth 101 since November 28, 2001. He stated that what led him to K-EARTH 101 was he always wanted to work at “The Greatest Station on Earth”. Bob also hosts a nationally syndicated radio show called “The Beatle Years”; it airs over 200 stations across the country.

Bob states “4 years filled with a lot of nice memories. I will always be grateful for the experience of going to Central Catholic High School. The teachers and my fellow students even made my Algebra classes survivable. We were very fortunate to have the one-on-one attention provided by the great staff at CCHS”.
