Ric Tapia’s Sports Photography

During the months of August and September Ric Tapia’s sports photography was on display in the hallway of the administration building. A reception was held on September 29, 2010, in the Kristi Phippen Art Gallery.

Ric Tapia attended CCHS in 2002 and 2003, his freshman and sophomore year; he then transferred to Bishop Manogue Catholic High School in Reno, Nevada. Ric has an impressive portfolio. His credits for publications and clients include: Sports Illustrated, ESPN, National Football League, The Sporting News, Golf Magazine, T.V. Guide, ESPN the Magazine, Colorado Avalanche, Upper Deck Images, si.com, espn.com, nbadraft.net, sikids.com, Chicago Sports Review, Aspen Daily News, Santa Barbara New-Press, The Reno Gazette Journal and many others. Ric states “Central Catholic gave me the academic and spiritual foundation for my current success”.
