Our 2011 "Swing for Central" Tournament was played on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Del Rio Country Club in Modesto. The four man scramble tournament included lunch on the course from various vendors, a special tee prize and dinner in the clubhouse. A short auction and the induction of four new members into the CCHS Hall of Fame followed. Inductees this year included Byron Storer and Andrew Dignan, both CCHS '02, Chantal de Alcuaz, '00, and Coach Jim Pecchenino, '72. The tournament netted $26,000 which will be used for a new sound system for Patton Field. Save the date now for next years tournament, Monday, October 5, 2012! |
