8th Grade Student Visits / Shadowing
Shadowing is a great opportunity to be a "Central Catholic student" for a day. Eighth grade students will be matched with a freshman or sophomore ambassador who has like interests. The day consists of "shadowing" their ambassador to classrooms, interacting with teachers and students and having a personalized day answering their questions and exploring their interests. We ask all visitors to respect our dress code by not wearing jeans/denim.
February 7, 14, & 21
March 6, 13, 20
April 3, 17
All visitors must apply through the CCHS Admissions Office to attend a Shadow Day. Public schools will receive a field trip verification so the school will not loose ADA for the day. Contact Ms. Tybor at 524-9611 or
email her.
Placement Test
Students attending a Catholic School in our area will be given the test in their 8th Grade classrooms during November/December. If your student missed the test at his or her Catholic School, you can sign up for a Saturday test date. The Saturday dates are mainly for our public school students.
The CCHS Placement Test will be administered on:
Saturday, January 28, 11am to 2pm
Saturday, February 25, 11am to 2pm
The test takes approximately 2 1/2 hours with a 1/2 hour break for a free pizza lunch. We also supply drinks and snacks for the students while they are testing. Please contact Ms. Tybor to schedule a date for your student.
