The Central Catholic High School Scholarship Program offers a variety of scholarships to incoming and current CCHS students, based both on academic promise and on need. Some awards are based on the student's home address or the junior high school he or she attended. Others reward specific career goals. Most scholarship applications require that a student's parents fill out a financial information form, TADS, and mail it in to this third party for an assessment of need in comparison to others applying for the same award.

The schedule for scholarship application form due dates and presentations was changed this year. FACTS forms and scholarship applications are due on January 15 for the following school year. A special workshop detailing the ins and outs of applying for scholarships at CCHS will be held on November 28. All parents are welcome. For more information, call Joan Hart in the CCHS Development Office, 524-6822.

Several new scholarships have been added: The Mackness Family Scholarship for a first generation student; The Walker Children Scholarship, the Olson Family Scholarship and the Bishop Stephen Blaire Scholarships for deserving students in need, as well as the CCHS Scholarships which will replace what was formerly known as tuition assistance.
