Junior John Mundt, son of Cathy Hendley Mundt, '86, and senior Craig Jones were recently guests of the Stanford University Football Recruiting Program. They were given a tour of the school, met with Stanford's strength trainer, and stood on the sidelines with the Stanford team during pregame warm ups for the game against the University of Oregon.
Congratulations to the Lady Raiders Golf Team! They went 12-0 in league this fall and are now are 84-0 in league covering six full seasons. Joanna Nguyen has been selected MVP of the Western Athletic Conference. Other CC team members earning all league spots include Katherine Dunn, Emily Raspo, Courtney Kim and Tori Abate. The Lady Raiders now go on the Division IV playoffs this Monday at Lockeford Springs.

CCHS parent and Water polo coach Buddy Wesson headed up the CCHS team competing in the first Navy Seals Trident Challenge for high schools, held at the Naval Base in San Diego in late April. Fall Sport WAC Champions: Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Golf and Girls Varsity Volleyball teams on winning Western Athletic Conference League titles during the fall season. Both teams went undefeated during the course of their league schedule.
The Central Catholic boys and girls basketball programs open up their seasons this weekend with preseason tournaments. The boys JV and Varsity will be competing in the Modesto City Tournament held by the Modesto City Schools and the girls JV and Varsity will be competing in the Escalon tournament.
