1,010 miles
Senior Zach Juarez cycled 1,010 miles this summer with his father, Ralph, to raise funds for a scholarship in honor of his newly discovered, late grandmother, a member of the Lummi tribe.
CC Basketball Camp
Central Catholic will host a Youth Basketball Clinic at 200 South Carpenter Road, Modesto, from July 19-July 23. Students from 4th through 12th grades are invited to participate. The clinic will focus on passing skills, ball handling, offensive footwork, shooting and fundamentals.
CCHS Baseball Team 4th in State
Central Catholic Raiders baseball team finishes 4th in CalHi Sports Baseball state rankings. In the final Division V state baseball rankings, the Central Catholic Raiders baseball team was selected as the 4th best team in the state of California by ESPN Rise/CalHi Sports. This recognition caps off another very successful baseball season by Coach Mike Glines and his entire staff.
WAC School of the Year
Central Catholic wins Western Athletic Conference School of the Year. The Central Catholic Raiders athletic program was recognized as the School of the Year for 2009/2010 at a banquet held at Turlock Country Club. This award is based on a cumulative point system from every Varsity sport recognized in the WAC conference. The award was created to honor the most successful athletic department in a given school year.

Earlier this year, Maddy Meyer was 1 of 40 players selected to represent the Girls Cal-North State Olympic Development Team (ODP) for 2010-2011.
