We're grateful to receive any items for our auction. However if you are need of ideas – here are a few items that we are still looking for to add to our auction. We would appreciate receiving your donations by February 3rd, which will allow us time for printing of the auction catalog. Items we are in need of for the auction:

The History of CCHS BASH

In 1974 there were two major fund raising events at Central Catholic High School. These were the St. Patrick's Day Dinner/Dance, which was held in March, and "Ye Ole Public Auction" which occurred in October. The St. Patrick's Day Dinner Dance became a very popular affair based on the great food, decorations and fun, live music. The Auction was a successful event with the silent component held in our gymnasium and the oral portion on the football field. By 1978, it was decided to consolidate these two fundraising events, and so the St. Patrick's Day Dinner/Dance, became a Dinner and Auction, Building A Scholastic Heritage.

Purpose of BASH

BASH raises a significant amount of money through a benefit held annually. This benefit contributes to the annual needs of the school's students, staff, and facilities. These may include, but are not limited to: tuition assistance, facility maintenance and improvements, staff salaries, recognition programs and many other necessities that tuition alone cannot cover. To do this we have the Gala/Auction Saturday, February 25.

Organization & Volunteers

BASH cannot operate without numerous volunteers. Volunteers are the backbone to this operation. Volunteering can be a wonderful experience, a great way to meet the parents of your child's friends. There is a dynamic that can happen when people work together for a common goal. There is the excitement of building a team, developing long lasting friendships and realizing a sense of accomplishment.
