Kendall Wesenberg to Appear at Gallo Center for the Arts

Class of 2008 alum and 2018 Olympian Kendall Wesenberg will be appearing at the Gallo Center for The Arts on May 4 at 8:00pm. Hear her fascinating stories about the preparation it took to get to the Olympics, and the unforgettable moments of camaraderie and competition during the Games.
Meet hometown hero Kendall Wesenberg, the Modesto resident who just competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea! Along with Katie Uhlaender, Kendall represented the United States in the women’s skeleton (bobsled) competition. Hear her fascinating stories about the preparation it took to get to the Olympics, and the unforgettable moments of camaraderie and competition during the Games. Kendall started competing internationally in 2014–15 on the Europe Cup circuit, winning her very first race, at Lillehammer. She went on to become the first American woman to win the overall Europe Cup season rankings. Fellow Modestan and Olympics discus star Suzy Powell-Roos will interview Kendall!
