Billy Hylla
It has been a couple busy weeks for sports as the fall sports are all moving into the playoffs. Congratulations to all of our Fall student-athletes and good luck to those advancing into playoffs!
Girls Volleyball This week Girls volleyball will host the semifinal game against Nevada Union on Tuesday at 7:00pm. A win would put them in the section championship game this Saturday with a location yet to be announced.

Girls Golf The girls wrapped up their season last week with Kyndal Bockhahn and Jasmine Kelly both competing at the CIF Divisional Tournament.

Girls Tennis As a team, the girls finished 2nd in the VOL. We will be playing against Los Banos this Wednesday at home at 2:00pm. A win would have us hosting a semifinal match next Tuesday. One of the biggest highlights of last week was Colleen Ballatore taking 1st in the VOL singles Tournament. This makes her the league champion as well as advances her to this week’s CIF tournament to be played on Thursday and Friday in Roseville.

Cross Country Both teams completed the league season last week in Oakdale. Freshman Ashley Sams finished 3rd overall in the VOL Championships girls division. Everyone will be competing this Saturday in Angels Camp in the CIF’s subsection meet.

Football Varsity defeated Oakdale to win the VOL Championship! The win earned the team a #2 seed in the CIF Division 2 Playoffs. The boys will play on Friday, November 9th against the winner of the Elk Grove vs Vacaville game. Game time will be 7:00pm.

Water Polo The water polo season is complete with both teams earning regular season wins for the first time in 3 years. The participation numbers were up and the kids worked extremely hard. It was a great season for the growth of our program!
