Become a Host Family

Would you like to provide a wonderful experience that enriches the lives of students? You can do so by becoming a host family. For more information on hosting a homestay student, please follow this link.
International Students must be issued a Form I-20, “Certificate of Eligibility for Non-immigrant Student Status.” The Form I-20 is needed to apply for the F-1 visa, apply for change of non-immigrant status, or secure permission to transfer to Central Catholic High School from another school in the United States. To receive a Form I-20, students must:
  • Receive official Application Acceptance from Central Catholic High SChool
  • Complete and return all forms as required by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service
  • Upon review of the student completed registration, required official documentation, and certification that all information is true and correct, the Form I-20 will be issued by Central Catholic High School.
Please note: International Students partnering with The Cambridge Institute, NACEL Open Doors, or other 3rd party arrangers may have many of these steps provided.

International Students

We welcome students from all over the world to join our family. We believe their unique perspective enriches the experience of all students and helps nurture an environment that expands the horizon of our entire campus. We host young people from countries such as China, Brazil, Sweden, and many more.

We give our International Students a learning environment designed to help them integrate quickly into the Central Catholic High School family. To accomplish this we offer:
  • A college-preparatory experience steeped in academic rigor.
  • An introduction to the Catholic Faith, its core beliefs, customs, and traditions
  • Honors and AP courses for qualifying students
  • After school subject-tutoring
  • Individualized, 4-year progress counseling
  • Cultural immersion activities which include International Club, field trips, and a homestay program for select students.
  • Access to a wide variety of athletic and co-curricular teams and activities.

Admissions Process and I-20 Eligibility

All International Students who attend Central Catholic High School must be highly motivated, excel academically, and be very proficient in English. Students applying for admission will be considered either on an individual basis or through their cooperating agency (Cambridge Network, NACEL Open Door, etc.)

Admissions Processing
