PURPOSE:
The purpose of fulfilling Christian service hours is to practice the teachings of Jesus Christ and to actively live out our CCHS Mission “to witness to the Gospel”. Service has always been a hallmark of Christianity and an outreach to the community at large. Our service hours are modeled after Jesus, who says, “Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)

REQUIREMENTS:
Each student is required to complete a minimum of 25 Christian service hours per year of which 10 hours should be project light by the deadlines listed below.

DUE DATES:
(Students will be placed on the ineligibility list for service hours not met by the due dates below.)

9th grade:
25 Christian Service hours due by May 31st, 2026 on Helper Helper App

10th grade:
50 Christian Service hours due by May 31st, 2026 on Helper Helper App

11th grade:
75 Christian Service hours due by May 31st, 2026 on Helper Helper App

12th grade:
100 Christian Service hours due by May 1, 2026 on Helper Helper App


**Service hour requirements will be adjusted for transfer students:
Transfer dates January-May  = 3 Hours per month
